taijiphoenix Posted February 25, 2014 at 03:14 PM Report Share Posted February 25, 2014 at 03:14 PM Hi All, I was looking at some Daoist poetry and came across a poem by Lu Dong Bin, but I can only find the English translation. I would very much appreciate it if someone could help me to find the poem in Chinese. I want to see the characters. I tried to search for it already in Chinese but my level is too low to make sense of the Chinese websites. If it helps Lu Dong Bin (呂洞賓) was born during the Tang Dynasty and is one of the eight immortals. Below is the poem in English: People may sit till the cushion is worn through,But never quite know the real Truth:Let me tell about the ultimate Tao:It is here, enshrined within us. Below is just one part of the total poem . (I think the English translation is just main idea of the poem ) 绝句 不负三光不负人,不欺神道不欺贫。 有人问我修行法,只种心田养此身。
