I can't be;ieve I've done so many scenes from 奋斗 without including an argument between these two.

 

 

熄火        xi1huo3           to stop (eg the engine of a car)

投机        tou2ji1           congenial, agreeable

不搭理      bu4da1li0         to not respond (to somebody's greeting etc)

来劲        lai2jin4          full of enthusiasm

回味        hui2wei4          reflect on, ponder

朴实        pu3shi2           simple, plain and honest (be careful using this, it can have a slightly negative unsophisticated and country bumpkin flavour to it)

挑刺儿      tiao1cir4         find fault, nitpick

肥水不流外人田     fei2shui3bu4liu2wai4ren2tian2 keep the goodies within the family

拽          zhuai1                  hurl, throw

找不自在     zhao3bu4zi4zai4   ask for trouble, bring misfortune on oneself
