Guest LittleDreamer Posted March 1, 2014 at 05:13 PM Report Posted March 1, 2014 at 05:13 PM Hello! So I'm very interested in reading Chinese stories for HSK level 2 & 3. What do I mean? Well, for example, this story is real hard for me so I want something easier so I'm able to read it. No, I can understand grammar but the lexicon is hard - donno too many words. Can you recommend me something (with the links if it's possible), please? In Russia I've bought an interesting book with Chinese stories for children. It conteins a story about man Egoun (if I don't make mistake) and a dragon (for example). There is 12 stories with pinin and each story start with chengyu. Maybe you know something like this? Thanks Quote
makochan Posted March 8, 2014 at 01:37 PM Report Posted March 8, 2014 at 01:37 PM Here are some short (some are very short) stories that might be good for your level: http://collections.uiowa.edu/chinese/topic_beginning.html For some reason its not quite the same, but you can download the TXT file for all the stories from this thread: http://www.chinese-forums.com/index.php?/topic/18565-easy-chinese-stories/?p=148416 If you have the Pleco dictionary for Android or iOS, its really nice because you can load it into the document reader and use it to read and look up unknown words instantly. datdere Posted March 8, 2014 at 06:46 PM Report Posted March 8, 2014 at 06:46 PM The Chinese breeze series (mentioned in many threads on here) start with 300 word level (500, 750 etc), might be appropriate for you. Quote
