tooironic Posted March 4, 2014 at 09:05 AM Report Posted March 4, 2014 at 09:05 AM Is my understanding correct that in Chinese 洗澡 can potentially refer to either taking a shower OR taking a bath? If so, is there a way to translate "take a shower" and "take a bath" into two different expressions to avoid confusing people? My guess: to take a shower = 沖澡to take a bath = 泡澡to bathe in general (either shower or bath) = 洗澡 Are there alternative expressions as well? Thanks everyone. Quote
