Seeing the doctor (phrases)

Hi Everyone,

I just have a couple of questions Re: seeing the doctor.

i) If I'm standing at the front desk after seeing the doctor and I'm not sure if I need to do anything else (pay more $$? sign something?) Do I just say Sometimes I'm not sure if I'm OK to leave or not!!

ii) If I want to say "Are my blood test results in yet?" what can I say?  I will probably say something like Is it wrong?

iii) Do I need to make an appointment? I would say: 我需要預約嗎?

iv) Should I take a seat first? (asking the receptionist): 我先坐嗎?

Thanks!!!

The doctor will only examine the patients, write down his judgment and give the prescription.

The rest (pay$$, get medicines, make appointment…) will be done by the nurses or the receptionists by the entrance.

You may tell the doctor how you feel now, when the abnormal start, your worry about the certain organ, … anything related with your “disease”.

If you cannot find the right Chinese in front of the doctor, you may try to use simple/short English directly as long as you find that he/she is using English to write the patient diagnosis and prescription.

As to the nusre, How to take the mediacine

That works. Or you can also say (Can I leave now?)

ii) Are my blood test results in yet? Optional: Add 請問 to the front for politeness.

You can change it to: 我看看驗血結果出來沒有。
