Pavel123 Posted March 21, 2014 at 07:31 PM Report Posted March 21, 2014 at 07:31 PM Hi, I am goint to study for 6 months on X2 visa. Do you know if I can get residence permit with that? I need some multiple entry option to China, so this is my only chance... Quote
ZhangKaiRong Posted March 21, 2014 at 11:56 PM Report Posted March 21, 2014 at 11:56 PM As far as I know, it is not possible to get a residence permit with X2 visa, since X2 visa is for students studying in China for less than 6 months, and residence permit is for students staying longer than 6 months. But maybe I'm not too up-to-date with the most recent changes, so I hope I'm wrong. Quote
laowang Posted March 22, 2014 at 01:37 PM Report Posted March 22, 2014 at 01:37 PM Then forget about the X2 visa and ask your university to issue you a set of new papers to get the residence permit either in or out of China, but you must be healthy enough to pass the health exam in China. Quote
