New Members JenniferC. Posted March 27, 2014 at 06:04 PM New Members Report Share Posted March 27, 2014 at 06:04 PM Hello! I am working at a design consultancy, and one of the designs is a logo for a brand of Asian foods. One of our suppliers wants to know if the characters in the logo translate into English. I don't know if this means anything or if these are just random characters: Any translation help is greatly appreciated! Best, Jennifer C. jbradfor Posted March 27, 2014 at 07:34 PM Report Share Posted March 27, 2014 at 07:34 PM Don't think it has any meaning together: http://www.mdbg.net/chindict/chindict.php?page=worddict&wdrst=1&wdqb=c%3A*%E7%A6%8F%E9%9C%9E* Note that the characters are pronounced something like "fusia", so the English name is pretty close to the Chinese name. And "fusia" made me think of (the color) fuchsia, and the second character means red clouds (according to the dictionary), so I think that's pretty clever.
