The Weakest Link... [translation]

Is there a good translation for the phrase:

"We are only as strong as our weakest link?"

Nobody? 

I've tried searching for a few 成语 with similar meaning. 

 

What do you guys think of these two:

 

一着不慎，满盘皆输

 

or

 

千里之堤，溃于蚁穴

I can't, and don't want to, comment on if the two Chinese sayings are close to the English saying. But I really dislike the first one. Consider 一子錯滿盤皆落索 instead. And in my opinion it does not mean the same as the English saying.

一環易斷(不牢)，全鏈易斷 is what comes to my mind. You can also consider 一環斷而全鏈斷, though the meaning is slightly different.
