戴 睿 Posted April 8, 2014 at 12:15 PM Author Report Posted April 8, 2014 at 12:15 PM Nobody? I've tried searching for a few 成语 with similar meaning. What do you guys think of these two: 一着不慎,满盘皆输 or 千里之堤,溃于蚁穴 Quote
skylee Posted April 8, 2014 at 12:29 PM Report Posted April 8, 2014 at 12:29 PM I can't, and don't want to, comment on if the two Chinese sayings are close to the English saying. But I really dislike the first one. Consider 一子錯滿盤皆落索 instead. And in my opinion it does not mean the same as the English saying. Quote
Kenny同志 Posted April 8, 2014 at 11:34 PM Report Posted April 8, 2014 at 11:34 PM 一環易斷(不牢),全鏈易斷 is what comes to my mind. You can also consider 一環斷而全鏈斷, though the meaning is slightly different. Quote
