Banner translation

Hello! I bought this for a great price at an estate sale and love the way it fits in my new place. I think it's a nice conversation starter but I wouldn't know where to begin.

 

Could someone please translate this banner for me?

The big character is 龍(dragon).

 

The eight characters below it (from right, top down) are  -

 

龍飛鳳舞 (dragon fiies phoenix dances)http://www.mdbg.net/chindict/chindict.php?page=worddict&wdrst=1&wdqb=龍飛鳳舞

 

如意吉祥 http://www.mdbg.net/chindict/chindict.php?page=worddict&wdrst=1&wdqb=如意吉祥

The last line on the left is about the year and artist of the piece. The year was 庚辰 (gengchen), which means it was a year of the dragon. Gengchen is a year in the Chinese 60-year cycle. The last gengchen year was 2000, the one before that was 1940. The next gengchen year is 2060.
