Warning: tailormadechinese is a scam

I hope this is the right place to post this.

 

Please be aware that the guys who run tailormadechinese.com don't pay their teachers.

They invoice you and then simply don't forward the money. 

 

This has been a long-established practice of the owner, a french guy who goes by Jeff Pouliquen (His real name is Jean-François Pouliquen).

 

They recently closed down their Shanghai location and fled without paying more than ten teachers. All three teachers you see in the images on their site have quit, at least one of them is currently suing them. Mr. Pouliquen keeps hiring new teachers and proceeds to trick them in the same shameful way. 

 

I am posting this here because TailorMade Chinese Center (泰莱梅德文化交流有限公司) has been replying in this forum to people looking to learn Chinese. Don't support these bankrupt criminals. If you are a teacher and you get a job offer from 139-1043-7743, I strongly encourage you to not take it.

I just finished a 3 month course with tailormade, I studied 1 month in Beijing and then 2 months in Shanghai, my teacher in Beijing even spoke a little bit of German which was great because I never spoke Chinese before, and when I arrived in Shanghai I was already quite independent in Chinese.

 

I am not sure what the other comment is about but I can say for sure that they are teaching in Shanghai. I did these 3 months with a friend and he is taking online classes back home so i guess he also liked it, having a teacher come to my place was a total score.
