This is a picture of the bottom of a figurine that was passed down to me from my aunt when she passed awaypost-56982-0-41850600-1402241390_thumb.jpg.  My uncle traveled over seas a lot and loved picking up different items from different countries.  This is one figurine out of two and I have not been able to find any information on these anywhere.  I would really appreciate your help in translating it. Thank you.

you might want to provide a less blurred image, or perhaps a pencil+paper stamping?

This is my best guess, but more knowledgeable forum members will undoubtedly correct it:

福建会馆 (Fujian Guild Hall?)

游子记

岳王?

I tried to get a better picture, but the bottom is slightly dirty and I couldn't get the picture to look any better. I appreciate the help, any information would be great to help me continue my search.

3. 岳王 ---> 長玉

Thanks One-eye, you resolve my doubts on .
Because, after I find the middle one is (not ), I start to wondering why the artist make (bottom half of ) from “balanced” (mirror-able) charater unbalanced - especially the middle part of the bottom

Moreover, there is a long stoke on (), it makes the writing more complicate, more time-wasting.

Now, the character is, the long stoke is reasonable.

 1. 福建會館
Yes. It is the place where many FuJian folks meeting or sharing their leisure times.
      They exist outside FuJian (province).

2.  游子記
If we take as a noun., then this maybe the store name.
If your family name is , your may name your store as 王記.
Thus, if your family name is , your may name your store as 游記.

However, 游子記 maybe belong to the person 游子.

(I have no idea if anyone use his full name as the store name)

If we take as a verb, means “record down”  by the person 游子.

However,   seldoms being used as the firstname.

is honored by others.  Such as 孔子, 孟子, 老子…etc.
Says, if a father name his kid as , how did the parent call his kid name and punish or blame him when he is too naughty ? How do the teachers call that kid in the school ?
