Ruben von Zwack Posted June 10, 2014 at 11:31 AM Report Posted June 10, 2014 at 11:31 AM 大家 buon giorno! Do any of you happen to know if there are any bloggers out there who (self-)study Italian, like AJATT does with Japanese, or if there is a forum like this for Italian? A colleague and friend just aked me for advice for learning Italian, but, unfortunately, I have absolutely no clue. This colleage has been following my Chinese adventures for the past 1.5 years, and now she wants to up her Italian "my way", self-study, cause apparently it works better or at least is much more fun than booking an expensive and boring evening class in town. I'm very flattered that she would think so, but as I said, I don't know anything about learning Italian. I couldn't even name any Italian movies, except for 70s Spaghetti Westerns. My first idea was to point her to Benny Lewis, because I remember from his Mandarin challenge that he discussed his strategy and every technical gimmick and every book he used in-depth. Just to get an inspiration and a starting point. But it seems he hasn't done Italian. Mille Grazie for any suggestions ! Quote
