Too small chinese fonts on google chrome or firefox

When i read something or try to read, traditional characters are displaying so small that i cant yet differentiate it from others, in chrome and firefox i can enlarge it (control on keyboard and mouse roll) but it is slow, especially while comparing to the same english text. Are there any enhancements to make chinese fonts better read?

Why is enlarging Chinese text slow? I'm not sure I understand the question. "Ctrl + plus" also works, and is instantaneous. You can press it multiple times for multiple size increases.

Are they physically too small or too low resolution?
