Wudaokou - where to stay?

Hello,

I'm planning on finding a private school in wudaokou for study, and am looking for a safe, relatively comfortable and inexpensive hotel or youth hostel to stay at until I find long term accomodation. Might be studying at Global Village...are there any good places to stay near there?

There's a 招待所 on the other side of the street (walk parallel to the subway station and behind the bookstore) that charges something like 75 RMB/night for a single room.

There are lots of advertisements for housing around the student quarters. If you can already read Chinese, just ask where the advertisements are posted in Beijing University. You'll be able to find a place with some Chinese students easily.
