PinyinHarry Posted June 24, 2014 at 03:56 PM Report Share Posted June 24, 2014 at 03:56 PM Hi everyone, I was just wondering if someone could help me tranlsate the text in the photos? Photo 1-6 is the front and back calligraphy of one scroll I have with Bird and Flowers. I really cannot tell if it is from China or Japan so if you can help me I would reall appreciate it! Photo 1-3 is the front and 4-6 is the back. Two of the characters on the back look like they have been 'scribbled out', I don't know why! Photo 7 is from a Japanese Kakejiku and I think the character in ink is the same as the character in red seal script? I think it must be the artist name. Thank you so much in advance if you can help me! Also, I have so many Kakejiku and scrolls and Chinese/Japanese painting now, I really need someone to help me do translations for all of them, so I can make a catalogue, so I was thinking, is there someone here who can do this who is charging a fee? I really hate asking for free translations! So I would prefer to pay someone who can help me out. It is not a massive job but would be ongoing, and if you can read artists names and seal script that would be perfect! Thanks a lot!
