Unfortunately this rice cooker is for Asian market only so there is no western edition with English buttons. Thank you in advance.

fanglu Posted June 30, 2014 at 11:23 AM Report Share Posted June 30, 2014 at 11:23 AM Anti-clockwise from top left: 预约定时: pre-set time (I assume as in 'start in one hour') 时间调节: adjust time 快煮: fast boil 汤/粥: soup/congee 汤/粥时间: soup/congee time 再加热: reheat 取消保温: cancel and maintain temperature 精煮: 'elegant boil' (according to the internet, this is slower than 'fast boil')
New Members Dim-Trij Posted June 30, 2014 at 04:51 PM Author New Members Report Share Posted June 30, 2014 at 04:51 PM Thank you fanglu very much especialy for Chinese characters. I dont know nothing about Chinese but I have played a little with a dictionary and I would say that: 粥 is puree, mash In the inside bowl in the cooker are three another words. Is my translation correct? 米饭 = rice 粥 = puree 水 + unknow character = which is probably water Am I right? Thank you
imron Posted July 1, 2014 at 07:24 AM Report Share Posted July 1, 2014 at 07:24 AM 粥 is puree, mash This is incorrect - 粥 is congee (rice porridge). 水位 is water level.
New Members Dim-Trij Posted July 1, 2014 at 09:22 AM Author New Members Report Share Posted July 1, 2014 at 09:22 AM Thank you imron. I usually consider congee as oat porridge but I could be made from other grains too. Anyway I tried to prepare some rice yesterday with the rice cooker and I was successful... thanks to you :-)
imron Posted July 1, 2014 at 12:16 PM Report Share Posted July 1, 2014 at 12:16 PM As far as I'm aware, congee is predominately rice.
