AaronLIC Posted August 12, 2014 at 01:46 AM Author Report Posted August 12, 2014 at 01:46 AM Anyone know why only half of the posts are showing Quote
imron Posted August 12, 2014 at 02:21 AM Report Posted August 12, 2014 at 02:21 AM We have put it here http://www.liveitchi....com/resources Your site fails to load if cookies are disabled (just goes in to an infinite reload loop). You also have overlapping text on the site and have a page width larger than my screen (macbook 13inch at 1440x900 resolution, running the latest Firefox) so I need to scroll horizontally. 1 Quote
roddy Posted September 17, 2014 at 08:19 AM Report Posted September 17, 2014 at 08:19 AM And again... I'm really mystified by the workings behind some of these sites. I can see there's a possible business model here, but the marketing (as far as your efforts on here go) seems weak. Even if the posts did get through moderation, I can't imagine people are going to be that interested in links to 'good articles I just happened to find' from new members who signed up five minutes ago and will probably never be seen again. What's the point? Does this work on other sites and we're just in range of the shotgun blast? To me, this looks like a waste of time and money. But you wouldn't normally expect people to waste time and money, which makes me think I'm wrong. Which makes me curious. Quote
New Members Juliangaertner Posted September 23, 2014 at 06:22 AM New Members Report Posted September 23, 2014 at 06:22 AM Hey Roddy, Seems clear that people want good content and come back for it. Especially on discussions related to the concept of learning Chinese. I am looking to actively contribute to the learners as a learned Mandarin and Cantonese in quite a short time. Liveitchina is to empower learners to make the right choices on Tutors, schools and Language Partner after they made up their minds on how they want to start. Any suggestions to better align on this?
