PLEASE HELP? I am Looking for help in translating a piece of art

I inherited four pieces of art from my grandmothers estate. Unfortunately no one in my family knows the story behind the art. My grandmother was a world traveler and purchased art while traveling. I am hoping someone may be able to decipher the writing on this one piece and I may be able to learn a little about it.

Actually, no offense, according to“昭和”, it's Japanese.

And there's a “日", which stand for “日本” (Japan), at least I think so.
