Kenny同志 Posted July 15, 2014 at 12:53 PM Report Posted July 15, 2014 at 12:53 PM Hello again folks, I am working on a text on the removal of membrane fouling and there I came across a term I don't quite understand in the FAQ section. Here's the sentence (modified) in question: Reduction in cleaning frequency makes the system much more cost effective when compared with standard cleaning chemicals and regimes. You can view the original sentence here (in the last question). What does regime mean? I looked up the word in several dictionaries but none of the definitions seemed to fit. PS: I didn't do the existing Chinese translation on the site. Quote

roddy Posted July 15, 2014 at 01:00 PM Report Posted July 15, 2014 at 01:00 PM Think of it as routine, as in a regular set of things you do. Process, regimen. For example. PS. Realmayo only beat me because I took the time to provide a link. Quote
