I found this writing on a waxing stick in a skincare clinic.

I can't make sense of it as a phrase but as separate characters it translates as:

 

今  jin = now, modern, present day

 

生 sheng = to be born

 

有  you = to have

 

约 yue = appointment, arrange a meeting

 

So I don't know what it all means together but maybe you might be able to work it out in context of what it is on and other infor.

I'd read it as 'We will meet in this life' or 'We have an appointment/date in this life' or perhaps even 'We were destined to meet in this life.' 'This life' in the reincarnation sense, as opposed to in a previous or future life.

That is a rather random thing to find on a waxing stick.
