Have we reached an impasse?

 

There aren't any 辭s that begin with 址. Or are there? I haven't been able to find one so far.

 

What do we do in this situation?

 

Or we could go back and start with 寫 as the next character since  Yang_Chuanzhang in post #7 had a 辭 starting with 譜 in 譜寫 before Skylee's 譜曲.

 

We shouldn't dismiss Yang_Chuanzhang's contribution just because he's only ever done 2 meagre posts to Skylee's prolific 13,405.

 

It's just not fair.  

 

So, what say you, fellows?

In case there are no words beginning with 址 (I didn't find any either) , here are some possibilities to go forward:

1. declare Hofman the winner and start another round (see 2 below)

2. back up to the last word that has a "successor" and continue from there (see 1 below)

 

Also consider adopting some rules such as

1. make the challenge be to see how long an unbroken chain can continue by requiring any new word to have at least one "successor"

or

2. keep score by declaring a winner when a word has no (fouind) successor.

 

Or we could just all go back to studying Chinese

It might be a good idea to disallow proper nouns. Is using Google and Wikipedia disallowed? I feel like i am cheating.
