Silent Posted August 8, 2014 at 07:18 PM Report Share Posted August 8, 2014 at 07:18 PM I've touchpal installed as input method on my android phone. If I set it up as English/Chinese it works like a charm for English and Chinese. However if I want to use a different european language I struggle as the dictionary changes everything to english words. So, I added Dutch as an input language expecting the Chin/Eng button to be extended with a third language. This is not the case and I still struggle. If I change language to Dutch I struggle with English as everything changes to dutch. I experimented with input language and dictionaries but the issue remains. Does any one know how to set it up to use English Chinese and Dutch (or other european language) with appropriate dictionaries or perhaps without dictionary (though with Chinese I prefer to keep the suggestions? skylee Posted August 9, 2014 at 02:19 AM Report Share Posted August 9, 2014 at 02:19 AM I know nothing about touchpal. I wonder if you could simply install google pinyin as your Chinese input method. Sorry if this is irrelevant.
Yorin Posted August 9, 2014 at 09:20 AM Report Share Posted August 9, 2014 at 09:20 AM I use "MultiLing Keyboard", it's got tons of languages with the corresponding dictionaries. You should give it a try!
