Lu Posted August 11, 2014 at 12:38 PM Report Posted August 11, 2014 at 12:38 PM If I squint really hard it looks like it might be a botched-up 文, meaning roughly 'literature'. But wait for the opinion of others, they might see something different. Whichever character it is, it's not very well written. Quote

YuehanHao Posted August 12, 2014 at 02:45 AM Report Posted August 12, 2014 at 02:45 AM My guess was it is a fake character, the radical 廴 combined with a dot (丶)on the top. But I am notoriously poor at caligraphy. Regardless of the original intent, a brief glance from more knowledgeable associate suggested a possible claim that it could be argued to be a sparing cursive version of 变 (change)??? I don't know, but it saves more face than my story. Quote
