So I've had this doubt for quite a while now. I don't seem to find a word or expression to call the mohawk hairstyle in chinese.

Can someone tell me if said word or expression exists, and what is it?.

Thanks!

Got this online “朋克头”,又称为“鸡冠头”、“飞机头”、“钉子头”,也称“莫西干头”

I have seen 朋克 used for the name of a hairdressers in Beijing  (朋克沙龙).

So at least it is confirmed as being "in the wild" in the PRC.

Hi Chilimili,
It was called 莫西干式 by my friends and classmate here in Shanghai
