Computerized or On Paper ? Which one's easier (HSK 4)

A big hello (Yeah me again, pardon me but i am panicking at the moment  )

Okay so i heard that there are some centers offering the computerized version of this test so i am inclined to ask this but could you please suggest which one should i register myself for (computerized or paper). Could you please answer keeping in mind that i have to appear in the exam in like 4 months. Also please tell me how was your general experience with any of them.

The big questions is ... Can you write characters well enough to do the HSK4 exam? Look at the practice paper and see which parts require you to write. Could you do that?

If you know how to type the words / can recognise them on a computer but think you can't write them by yourself then taking the computer test would be the way to go.

It's really more personal preference. If writing is really important to you and you practice is already, then you might think about the written test. If you don't care about writing or don't have time, then do the computer test.

Writing is definitely the biggest issue. If you can't do it or have trouble with it, the computerized exam is way easier. One disadvantage of the computerized version is that you can't read ahead for the next question in the listening part. On paper you can start reading the answers to the next question if you already know the answer for the current question.

I've taken and passed the computer HSK 4 in 2012. I could never have passed the "paper" test. It takes a lot more mastery to handwrite Chinese, much easier to type pinyin on a keyboard.

A big thank you to all of the helpful souls out here  . I finally have decided to give the computer exam as i am a perfectionist and writing one Chinese character takes me at least a whole minute coz i keep erasing and writing it again (yeah, i know weird  ).
