So here is another one the of the same style as the last one but slightly different.

You need to add the correct tones to make sense of this seemingly nonsensical set of characters.

Well for what its worth here is the translation, i will leave it so that someone else might put the correct tones on it.

 

When you are narrating chronicles, narrate modern chronicles, and when you narrate chronicles, do it in a modern form; When you pick out a tune, pick out an ancient tune; and when you pick out a tune, pick out a song.

 

As the first puzzle raised no interest and the second one only a little bit and the third absolutely none I am going to give up putting in the effort

 

This is the last puzzle in the Sunday Puzzle Club which is now no longer in existence.
