泰格。伍兹

‘由于他的绯闻让他代言的体育用品销量下降,’ is this the same as ‘由于他的绯闻让他代言的体育用品销量下降,’吗??

让 is a 'passivisor' here? Or is it 'make' Can it be both at the same time??

‘由于他的绯闻让他代言的体育用品销量下降,

1 ’ his sex scandal caused(让) the sales volume of the sporting goods which he endorsed to go down,'

2 'due to his sex scandal the sales volume of sporting goods endorsed by (让) him went down,

3 ???

Is what you posted the full sentence or was it just the beginning of a sentence?

此外,他也成为体坛中唯一一个收入超过10以美元的球员。但是由于他的绯闻让他代言的体育用品销量下降,泰格。伍兹2010年的赞助费与去一年相比下降了2200万美元,不过他依旧是美国体育界排名第一位的印钞机。

但是由于他的绯闻让他代言的体育用品销量下降,泰格....

I think a fairly close translation would be:

"However, due to the fact that his sex scandal made ((让) the sales of the sporting goods he endorsed fall, Tiger...."

‘由于他的绯闻让他代言的体育用品销量下降,’ is this the same as ‘由于他的绯闻让他代言的体育用品销量下降,’吗??

It is awkward to have two instances of  的 close together.  It is common or even usual in such a case to omit one and turn the first attribute into a "topic."

Yes.

As for your question about 让, I think you're either unclear on what "passive" means or what "让" means. 让 is a causative.

[他的绯闻] 让 [他代言的体育用品销量] 下降

Anoun 让 Bnoun Verb

[他的绯闻] = His sex scandal

让 = caused

[他代言的体育用品销量] = the sales of the sporting goods he was spokesperson for

下降 = to fall.

I think 下降 is an intransitive verb as well which would preclude the passive?

But nevertheless, you can only use 让 to mean 被 where you could actually use 被 in the first place. You couldn't here, so it wouldn't make sense for 让 to have a passive meaning in this sentence.
