So, it seems a refined way of marking himself as a masochist to Chinese and Japanese. Or is it possible it should be read as 痛恋?

Finally, I got enough info to figure out what he meant, love and pain (wounds from a romantic relationship). Thank you guys so much for your help!!!!

“恋痛”is not a formal Chinese word, perhaps it's manufactured by somebody loving fantasy。

u can explain it as love and pain (wounds from a romantic relationship).

"恋" means love "痛" means pain

Don't use that word.

Few people can understand it even though in China.
