Translate: 你再看, 你再看, 你再看我就把你吃了。

刚刚看了下我昨天视频里面的翻译, 感觉越看越不对劲呀。 我的翻译是:

你再看, 你再看, 你再看我就把你吃了。
Keep looking, keep looking, keep looking and I will eat you.

I felt like I went Chinglish on that one or something (~_~)

Thank you.

P.S. It is a line from a commercial I watched as kid. don't know if anyone remembers it.

This reminds me of the film Taxi Driver, in which Robert De Niro asks the question, " You talking to me? You talking to me? You talking to me?" Although it is a question, it is not meant to be one. It is meant for intimidating the other party.

"Say 'what?' again! Say 'what?' again! I dare you. I double dare you, m***********! Say 'what?' one more g****** time!"

(Samuel L. Jackson, in Pulp fiction)

Same with this one, in which you should understand the opposite of the order given if you don't want a bullet in your arm.

I would translate 你再看, 你再看, 你再看我就把你吃了 the same way: an order to look again: "Take one more look! Take one more look and I'll eat you alive". It would even look more menacing with one or two f-words here and there.

Well the video is about one of the coolest scenes (if not the coolest) in one of the coolest movies ever (if not the coolest). But I admit it can be confusing if you haven't seen the movie  . Hopefully you're one of the few who haven't seen it. Pulp Fiction is usually quite popular. But rest assured: you can't really consider that I'm spoiling anything. If you haven't seen the movie you can consider it a trailer. There's much more about this movie than just this scene.

But it was to illustrate why I would go for that kind of a translation: "Take one more look! Take just one more look, and I'll eat you alive".
