I am a beginner to Chinese and I need to translate this sentence to Chinese: 

' I recently returned from Australia after being an exchange student for 6 months. I enjoyed my visit especially experiencing Chinese New Year with my Australian Chinese friends'

Welcome to the forums, have you made any attempts to translate this yourself? If so it would be good to post it and then people can see that you have made an effort and can correct what you have done.

 

A good way to start is to break long sentences up.

 

I recently returned from Australia.

I was an exchange student for 6 months there.

I enjoyed my time there.

I really/especially enjoyed spending Chinese New Year with my Australian Chinese friends.
