New Members Vukovic Posted September 16, 2014 at 10:31 PM New Members Report Posted September 16, 2014 at 10:31 PM Hello all. I am from Serbia and I would like to ask you for help I really love China, and ever since I visited Shenzhen, Hong Kong and Beijing, I realized that the China is the land of future. please read my story: I was really good basketball player until 21 of age, when I suffered from a serious injury, which ended my career as a professional. I am now 29 years old but after complete recovery and starting to play again, I realized playing hard street-ball in Serbia that I am really close to pro level, with just the shooting practices I do on my own. Could imagine playing much better with full training. We have weekly games with both veterans (including several former Euroleague players) and juniors (some of them even playing on US colleges with great upcoming careers and potential NBA draftees) and with full honesty I can say that I "own the field" and all players look up to me. My former co-players are the ones that just won silver medal in FIBA World Eurocup, I have played with 2 of them when I was 21. I cant start from here, our Serbian club basketball is very low level when it comes to conditions and finances. I have a job (computer programer) and I cant see myself playing 2-3 years with amateurs just so I could prove to someone that I am more than good so I could go to at least decent club in surrounding countries (eastern europe) I would ask you to help me find contacts of Chinese basketball clubs. I cant seem to find any of the official websites of clubs. My idea would be to send them a Player profile video, and hope for a feedback, as I know that I could contribute to the rising quality of Chinese basketball and play on professional level as many of my friends tell me that I have what it takes, and we are talking about professionals, players with recognition. I know this is a long shot, but I come from a land of Basketball, Serbia, and you wouldnt believe how many kids could actually play best of world's leagues but they lack finances, proper diets, conditions, courts, and most important, support. One of our players that scored couple of great baskets against team USA in the FIBA world cup finals is the kid Stefan Jovic, who currently plays for Radnicki from Serbia, which owes him 7 monthly payments and the kid is training in horrible conditions ... Thanks to all in advance, I would ask only for some official contacts so I could do the rest myself, would like to opt for a basketball trainer position also cause China is a great place to live. Cheers Quote
