IChig Posted September 30, 2014 at 11:49 AM Report Posted September 30, 2014 at 11:49 AM I will be applying to Wuhan University and I would like to know how much would be sufficient to live in Wuhan per month to live at a basic standard of living. I have looked at some old topics and made this calculations: Monthly expenxes 298 dollars (tuition) 146 dollars (accomodation at wuhan University) other expenses + food 488 dollars (3000 RMB) Is there anything else that I should consider and is the "other expenses and food" amount sufficient to live per month? JayXZ Posted October 2, 2014 at 03:01 AM Report Posted October 2, 2014 at 03:01 AM I found this post from two years ago: http://tieba.baidu.com/p/2346174816 The following is the living cost just for survival in Wuhan, you have to make upward adjustment to the food cost of whatever is listed below. Suggestions: buy clothes/shoes from U.S. (if you are from here) and bring to China even if they're made in China, clothes/shoes of any quality/brand name are much more expensive there. Also buy and bring lotions/toothpaste etc from U.S. for better quality. Hope this helps. 1 Quote
IChig Posted October 2, 2014 at 04:18 PM Author Report Posted October 2, 2014 at 04:18 PM Thank you for the answer. i found a average amount at the CUCAS website, but I didn´t know if the amount was just for cost of living since the numbers are near to yours, they must be for cost of living. http://school.cucas.edu.cn/home?sid=22 Quote
