Let me give you the full sentence and see if that fits.

"第四十年,圣历十一月一日,凡耶和华吩咐摩西告诉以色列人的,摩西都告诉了他们。"

That reminds me. A while back I was reading a book on the ethnic Chinese in Thailand when I came across this.

It had 佛曆, (Buddha calendar), which I'd never heard before so I searched the Guoyu Cidian web site and got nothing. So I thought they probably use the variant

佛歷. Also nothing. So I did an Internet search and got.

and it's English equivalent.

I guess they use it in Southeast Asian countries such as Thailand.

I did an Internet search for 聖曆 and got.

Nothing about "liturgical calendar". Just that it's an era name for Empress Wu of the Tang dynasty. Probably not what you want. Empress Wu wasn't in the Bible, was she?   :)

Not even an English equivalent for the article.

Still don't know how era names work.

Kobo.
