I read a chinese short story (randomly written on the web, authorship unknown) on the web whose link I don't have.  A loan shark was going after a debtor who cannot pay.  The loan shark found the debtor's mother and asked her to repay her son's debt.  The mother reacted angrily and said this:

"誰欠你錢你找誰,你找得着我嗎?"

"找得着" in a different setting would have meant "successfully found something".   But the usage of "你找得着我嗎" seems odd here.  But I also remember that the setting of the story was somewhere in northern China.  Could "你找得着我嗎" have some dialectic meaning here?

Sounds like regional meaning to me~ The meaning makes sense, it's like 你找我干嘛 but I want to imagine it with a twang.

I think it's more like a twisted usage of 用得着.

你用得着这么生气吗? Why are you so mad?(Implying you shouldn't and it's nonsense)

So, in this case, it means why are you looking for me?(also the same implications as above)
