Ask a question about the use of a word in a sentence (several times a day). 2. Say "I think it means A." 3. People answer, "No, it's more like B." 4. Pedroski says, (pick one) "But that's not how it is in English./Oh, so it's like A?/Oh, so it's like C?" I can't tell if we're being trolled or not. Your interpretation is ok. I hope you (1) no longer think 面廣 is a word and (2) know what the 面 in 影響面 means. I think these are the main questions you have raised. I think that won't work for me yet, because I cannot tell if the Chinese is ok or not. Would be nice if gf was here, but she went home to see her family, left me all alone to fend for myself!
