Podcasts in Shanghainese, other dialects and Mandarin

If anyone has updated the operating system on their iPad (and presumably iPhone) lately, one may have noticed a new "Podcast" app.

This app is actually quite good for finding language podcasts. I guess there are loads for Mandarin. Personally I haven't tried searching for any Mandarin yet, but I did manage to find several Shanghainese podcasts. This is useful because the sound is clear and is of normal speech. This differs, for example, from the Shanghainese comedies or specific teaching materials that one can find on youku, for example. The disadvantage is that there is no script or text, so if you don't understand something, there is no way to check other than to ask a native speaker.

Nevertheless, I thought I'd mention it here, because it may be useful for others trying to find podcasts in Mandarin or rarer dialects.
