eion_padraig Posted May 15, 2005 at 12:07 AM Report Posted May 15, 2005 at 12:07 AM Hey, after 2 1/2 years living in China, I'm back in the US and slowly losing my ability to understand, speak and read Chinese. I still have tapes and books that I want to work on, but using tapes just doesn't cut it. I've bought an ipod recently, but the only way I can think to record it from the tapes is manually using the Griffin italk or the Belkin voice recorder. Both seem less than ideal ways to get them to a format I can listen to on my iPod. Any other suggestions? Do people know of other places to buy or download Chinese recordings (not really music, but talking) in mp3 or wav format? Preferably with something written down or a writing exercise to go with it. I guess Chinese radio could be interesting, but that may be a bit too difficult for my listening ability. Thanks for your help. If I get around to doing the recordings, I can let people know how it turns out. I think my girlfriend is going to get me the Griffin iTalk for my birthday next week. Take care. Sean Quote
