edelweis Posted October 19, 2014 at 12:02 PM Report Posted October 19, 2014 at 12:02 PM The first one says this isn't a Xiaomi phone: the model or screen characteristics don't match official Xiaomi data. Perhaps someone altered the system characteristics, or perhaps this is a fake. If the vendor assured you that this is a Xiaomi product, then you should contact Xiaomi directly for identification and activation. The second one says that the search indicates this is a Xiaomi phone, model 3, China Unicom version, 16GB, metal grey. It was sold in Nanjing on 2014-02-11. There's a little bit explaining what IMEI and serial numbers are. And if the selling place and date don't match with your purchase, if you didn't buy the phone from an official Xiaomi store, you should get in contact with you local Xiaomi store in order to perform a second identification. Did you buy this phone second hand? Quote
