smokeyrosy Posted October 25, 2014 at 06:40 PM Report Posted October 25, 2014 at 06:40 PM I want to know if there are websites that provide Chinese folktales or children stories audio with accompanying text. I am new to Chinese learning, so I want to use Chinese folktales or children stories to learn Chinese. Quote
akdn Posted October 26, 2014 at 08:40 AM Report Posted October 26, 2014 at 08:40 AM The World Stories site has got Chinese folk stories in English, Mandarin and Cantonese, accompanied by PDFs and MP3s. They were developed for UK primary school children who speak English as a second language. Even so, they contain quite complex ideas and language, so I doubt its value as a resource for learning Chinese basics. Just goes to show, I suppose, that 'young learners' are not always 'beginners' in a language. 3 Quote
