Kenny同志 Posted November 2, 2014 at 12:11 PM Report Posted November 2, 2014 at 12:11 PM 湖南奔驥環保能源科技有限責任公司 Hunan BenJi pro-environment Energy Technology Co., LTD I am sure the English name is lame. What would you suggest, folks? Personally I am inclined to translate it as "Hunan Bengee Green Energy Technology Co. Ltd", but it also sounds awkward. Quote
Kenny同志 Posted November 2, 2014 at 12:19 PM Author Report Posted November 2, 2014 at 12:19 PM By the way, which one is correct: Co., Ltd or Co. Ltd? Edit: Just to be clear, I have consulted my Oxford English dictionary and the example of the "Ltd" entry reads "Pearce and Co. Ltd". However, "Co., Ltd" seems to be pretty common, too. Quote
skylee Posted November 2, 2014 at 12:51 PM Report Posted November 2, 2014 at 12:51 PM How about Ben-G as a brand name? PS - G for Green. 1 Quote
陳德聰 Posted November 2, 2014 at 05:37 PM Report Posted November 2, 2014 at 05:37 PM I think any permutation of "BenJi" will be awkward regardless, because it's not English. I think calling it "Thoroughbred Green Energy Technology Ltd" would even sound more like an actual company name. I don't think you need to include "Co." as in "Co., Ltd". I believe it depends on the law of the land determining incorporation doesn't it? 1 Quote
