Katertot Posted November 21, 2014 at 06:28 AM Report Posted November 21, 2014 at 06:28 AM I'm half Chinese and would like to get my favorite quote tattooed, but I want to make sure the translation sounds as natural as possible. Could you guys give me a hand with it? I speak very basic Mandarin and definitely need second opinions on this. I know that tattoos are sort of frowned upon here, but I'd like to honor the asian part of my heritage with this tattoo as well. I lost all of my material wealth and several years worth of work recently but have come to realize that the commitments and possessions I had before were tying me down more than anything. The phrase is: It is only after we've lost everything that we are free to do anything. Quote
