zhwj Posted May 19, 2005 at 09:04 AM Report Posted May 19, 2005 at 09:04 AM I'm using the Chinese version of XP, and I've installed all of the latest Unicode extensions and GB-18030 updates. The fonts that came with these updates are all of considerable size and overlap already-existing fonts. My installation is on a rather small partition, and I'd like to minimize the space allotted to redundant Song-style fonts so I can install other interesting typefaces. I have the 方正超大字符集, which at 40M is the most complete font I've found, and I'd like to use that to replace SimSun and NSimSun as my system font. I could then get rid of (or archive) the SimSun files (of which, for some reason, I have two - an English filename and a Chinese filename, 10M apiece), as well as the SimSun-18030 file (12M). Is this at all possible without running the risk of completely destroying my interface? Quote
