Help With Chinese Silk Painting

Couldn't find it. It's just not on google (or very well hidden).

Chances are that this painting is from the 20th Century though: the text is written in simplified script (that's not a 100% reliable proof but it can give you an idea).

There only seems to be one character in the seal, composed on the left of 萼 and on the right of 月 but there is no indication of such a character anywhere that I could check (or it's very well hidden).

It might be two characters written too close to each other then. 萼月 seems to be an existing combination: I found 红萼月见草 on google. It's a plant and its latin name is Oenothera erythrosepala Borb. Might be a pseudonym...

Well done! It's true that I wasn't very sure about how the [口*口] part could have been written in such a way, but 萼 was still the only character I could think of. I would never have thought that 華 could be written that way.
