I'd like to know if I'm doing this right..

Here's an example first:

這件事很清楚, 不必我說。-》這件事很清楚, 不必我多說。

This matter is very clear; I don't need to explain it. -》This matter is very clear; I don't need to explain it further.

And here's what I've tried.. What's after the “-》” is what I wrote. The english translation below is also mine.

運動對身體健康有很大的幫助。 -》 運動對身體健康多有很大的幫助。

Exercising helps/is good for your physical health. -》Exercising more helps/is good for your physical health.

Somehow it doesn't seem right, because I hardly transformed the sentence and the meaning isn't what I was hoping to achieve.

I think anonymoose's suggestion is grammatically correct, but is a different usage of “多”. In this case, “有帮助” is being used as an adjectival phrase (helpful/beneficial), so “多” is simply intensifying that adjectival phrase and turning into an exclamation.

dwq's solution is probably the answer that is intended (assuming this is a textbook or homework question).

This is not right because 多有幫助 and  有很大的幫助 mean the same, so you must use only one of tem. If you put them both into one sentence it becomes too much  :P
