louza8 Posted January 4, 2015 at 03:14 AM Report Posted January 4, 2015 at 03:14 AM Hi all, I'm a long time reader first time poster. I'm currently studying Chinese at a University in Beijing. However, due to the 空气 my girlfriend and I plan on moving to Qingdao to study at OCU for next semester. I am on an X2 double entry visa, have used the second entry and am permitted to stay another 120 days. (1) If I apply to OCU and obtain the admission letter, JW202 etc., am I able to extend my X2 visa at the PSB entry/exit in Qingdao? (2) Or will I have to return to my home country and reapply for another X2 visa? (3) Does anyone know an agent in Qingdao that I should direct my query to? Thanks for your insight. Quote
roddy Posted January 4, 2015 at 11:32 AM Report Posted January 4, 2015 at 11:32 AM Has OUC given you any information? That'd be my first port of call, as they have a much better idea of what's possible locally. But the X2 visas are relatively new, so it may just be that procedures are being worked out. There's also the possibility that if you do need to leave the country you can go to Hong Kong, rather than all the way home. Quote
