The title says it all!

 

This is inspired by a) an upcoming trip to Taiwan and b) trying to mentally sort all the different ways to say the same thing I encounter in my studies and appropriately learn them.

In fact I don't know for sure. I'm on the mainland so I steer clear of it.

It's not an urban legend, it does indeed have the other meaning of a slang word for prostitute. But of course, it all depends on context.
