Shelley Posted January 25, 2015 at 10:00 PM Report Posted January 25, 2015 at 10:00 PM I think this is something that is still in the minds of programers. I think this would be very difficult to do. If you find software to do this I would be surprised. Of course I may have misunderstood what you are after, if so, apologies. Quote
mikelove Posted January 25, 2015 at 10:17 PM Report Posted January 25, 2015 at 10:17 PM Not quite clear from your post if this is what you're looking for, but most good Chinese dictionary apps and websites support breaking down sentences into dictionary entries for their constituent words; mdbg.net for example is a website that does this. Shelley Posted January 25, 2015 at 11:19 PM Report Posted January 25, 2015 at 11:19 PM I was going to suggest Pleco reader but not sure that is what the OP actually wants. Quote
mikelove Posted January 25, 2015 at 11:53 PM Report Posted January 25, 2015 at 11:53 PM We also break down sentences in the search box (as do lots of other apps / websites) - enter a sentence and you'll see it broken down into words with a definition for each. Quote
tooironic Posted January 26, 2015 at 01:03 AM Report Posted January 26, 2015 at 01:03 AM I believe the OP is looking for something like this: Chinese Segmenter and Annotation Tool. Weird though, I remember that website used to have an excellent online version of the same tool, but I can't find it anywhere now. Luckily, Chinese-tools.com's Chinese Annotation Tool can do the same thing. Have a look. 1 Quote
imron Posted January 26, 2015 at 01:10 AM Report Posted January 26, 2015 at 01:10 AM My own Chinese Text Analyser can do something similar (word lists, but not the numbering) and can also do sentence extraction (with or without cloze deletion) and it also keeps track of your known vocabulary so you can use it on an unread piece of content and get a word list of unknown vocabulary. 1 Quote
Tianjin42 Posted January 26, 2015 at 02:38 AM Report Posted January 26, 2015 at 02:38 AM +1 for the Chinese Text Analyser - I use it and find it useful in terms of breaking down the text into constituent parts/ checking known vocab. Quote
