Help needed to convert hand written characters to digital form

In Taiwan, people are apparently taught the wrong convention or copy wrongful models.

 

I often see sentences like "My name is Wang, Chien-ming and I am 25 years old." Or worse,  "My name is Chien-ming, Wang and I am 25 years old." It's as if they think the comma is 1) a  separator between surname and given name, no matter what the order is, and 2) and integral part of the name.

 

The purpose of a comma is pretty much restricted to making alphabetized lists. They should be avoided in other situations, and I assert they should NEVER be used in sentences, and never-ever-ever if the given name is written first. In other words, "Chien-ming, Wang" is always wrong.

 

I have no problem with the hyphen; it's standard in Wade-Giles representations of names.
