Popular Post roddy Posted January 28, 2015 at 02:11 PM Popular Post Report Posted January 28, 2015 at 02:11 PM China Development Brief, an organisation that acts as a clearing house for info on Chinese NGOs, has published a brochure on volunteering (pdf link at top right). The brochure lists a few dozen organisations, the locations and fields they work in, plus what they're looking for in terms of time commitments. There's stuff in there that could easily suit a student (EG, Beijing Cultural Development Center for Rural Women might need 8 hours a month of translation and website stuff. CDB is a very well respected body, and these will be genuine organisations. Well worth a look for anyone interested. Even if you can't volunteer, it's fun to read and see what's happening out there... Some interesting jobs on the site too. Fancy weeding out fraudulent visa applications? Oh, you're too busy saving the planet? 5 Quote
