It's useful because you can access definitions offline. The extra features such as the audio clips and 歷代書體 require an Internet connection though. Unfortunately the Android version has neither of those features, and it also won't allow you to enter simplified characters for automatic conversion and look-up. 1 Quote

There is also a MoE dict Pleco version which lets you search using simplified characters. For license reasons you will have to add it manually.
